Okay, I didn’t type this seemingly incomprehensible headline due to my now recovering carpal tunnel syndrome. The long string of characters is, in fact, the name a Swedish couple gave their child in defiance of a fine levied by the district court in Halmstad, southern Sweden for failing to register a name for the child by his fifth birthday. And no, the couple were not lazy or forgetful parents. They were just libertarians protesting a law in Sweden that restricted what first names could be.

Apparently, subsequent attempts to name the child were disapproved as well, but I suppose the couple can give this another shot: “The boy formerly known as Brfxxccxxmnpcccclllmmnprxvclmnckssqlbb11116″
