Let me put the recent Singapore General Election results in simple terms so it’s easier to understand why the attempt to deny the ruling party a blank cheque was futile.
I doubt any opposition party would dare to use this (or something similar) as their campaign poster because they want to play nice and they are afraid of being sued for defamation.
Sorry, the ship has sailed in 2015. By the time the next general election comes around, the exposing of the HDB leasing scam will loom large in the minds of voters. Out of self-interest and a blind faith in the greater fool theory, they will continue to install the #PartyAgainstPeople as their choice of predators.
