Went to view the last round of fireworks display tonight. As usual, the traffic around the Esplanade was mind boggling. Went down to PH early to discuss song with Joey again. Marie surprised that those blasphemous lyrics were written by me. Remembered T20’s big order well and was praised by the customers. E overheard as well.

February 15, 1989 (Wednesday)

Sort of ran DM’s shift for the afternoon. OMO at front service for almost an hour between 3-4pm. Received a gift from two female customers from Australia who noticed my sole presence. Gave me a commemorative coin for their country’s 200 years (1788-1988) foundation in appreciation of my thorough service!
