If you thought you’ve read this book before, you thought correctly. Much of the material in Yes! seems to be drawn from Robert Cialdini’s book, Influence. (He is listed as one of the co-authors, so no surprise there.)
In fact, I suspect the word “Yes” in the title is one of those subliminal mind tricks designed to get you to transport this book from the shelf to the check-out counter.
Overall, this is like a watered-down version of Influence, minus the deep dive (i.e. the scientific elements).
