It took me forever to finish The 4-Hour Workweek because I can’t get over the nagging suspicion that Tim Ferriss is an overrated “lifehacks” aggregator. The author is clever to put a passage that addresses doubters at the beginning of the book. But by the end of the book, my suspicion is more or less confirmed.
The problem with someone like Ferriss is that he is a symptom of the modern influencer, a self-promoting narcissist who focuses on sensationalism, cherry-picked or misrepresented “data points”, and half-truths.
He also cites many principles/laws, sometimes misusing them (e.g. Pareto principle, or the 80/20 rule) as though they are gospel truths.
I wouldn’t recommend that you waste your time and money to read this book, but if you insist, here’s the link to Amazon to buy it.
