If you want to burst your child’s fairy tale bubble, watch this. A Korean production, Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs is a parody of Disney’s princess movies with a twist. It’s a bit like Shallow Hal with a running theme on inner beauty and self belief. The animation rivals that of Disney and the dialogues are cleverly crafted with well-timed references to familiar fairy tales. It’s cute, funny, and charming. The soundtrack is a bit cheesy though.
