Italian experimental architecture company Dynamic Architecture has proposed a revolving sustainable skyscraper for Dubai that is powered by wind turbines placed between each floor. Check out the video clip below and be blown away by the mesmerising effects.
The concept, introduced by Florentine architect David Fisher, is impressive. But is it safe, considering there would be many moving parts that are susceptible to wear and tear? Each floor of this building rotates separately, meaning the building’s profile will constantly change. According to the designers, the 59 storeys and 58 turbines will generate enough surplus electricity to power a further five skyscrapers of similar size.
