Started work at 12pm. Delivery short of staff – crossed over to answer calls at the base. E covered bar solo for the first time until 1pm. Adrian’s last day. His partner, Simon, was unable to cope and bar jammed up around 9pm. Left service and went into bar. Forced Simon out – even Max acknowledged the fact and made him do washing/oiling pans. Speed clearing – tidied up the mess and restored it to normal. 6-11:15pm at bar (solo). Hit by 20 persons diverted from Wisma. Almost jammed but managed to cope by pushing myself to better form. Closed quite early despite brisk trade.
