Busy in kitchen – took almost 2.5 hours to finish meal bought by Joanna. OMO till 6pm before going for break. Kelvin II, etc were impressed. First real shift in kitchen – well done! Gained some experience – more steady now.

The problem with city zoo
Dropped by Manila Zoo, a tiny zoo about 15 minutes’ drive from Makati CBD last Saturday. Entrance fee is a lot cheaper than Singapore Zoological Gardens (40 pesos, or about S$1.30), but understandably so, as the scale and facilities are also less impressive. March 27, 1989 (Monday)
Rotated washing between Kelvin II and myself while Joey floated around and experimented with new creations (e.g. half-pan/half-thin pizza, double-layer thin, spaghetti pie, etc). Managed well without jamming.

Doris commented that my aux orders were out very fast – ready to send out rightaway almost every time.

Both Doris and Jonathan commented favourably about my clearing ability and speed at managing bar orders – “Expert!”
