When researchers at Stanford Research Institute first decided to call the pointing device they’d just invented a mouse, they probably didn’t envision that some day, someone would take a real, dead mouse and model it into a computer mouse. You heard me right – a dead mouse.
This obnoxious creation is the brainchild of Christy Canida and Noah Weinstein, both regular contributors to the Instructables website, a community site dedicated to making “cool stuff”, or so it claims. The “mouse” in this instance is made using the skin of a real mouse, bought (already dead) from a pet store in Berkley. If you have the stomach for gory details, check out how it’s done. Viewer discretion is advised.
