Just when you thought consumer spending in the US is heading for a tailspin, along comes action that makes you wonder. Here are two news reports on Black Friday shopping:

And I thought only Singaporeans are known for being kiasu.

    I know the economy is bad and Christmas shoppers are doing all that they can to save a buck or two, but our country should be ashamed of itself for turning into a nation of greedy consumers that will put people’s lives at risk just to buy something else to adorn their living room or who will ruin a child’s Christmas and entire life by killing one of their parents over a shopping altercation.
