Just the other day, I was trying to secure a hotel booking through Expedia and strangely enough, after I’ve jumped through several hoops to arrive at the payment information page, I discovered that Philippines is not listed on the drop-down menu of countries. So there’s no way for me to make a booking with an address in the Philippines.
I headed over to the hotel’s own website and guessed what? No such problem exists for its online booking system. Philippines is wedged firmly between Peru and Pitcairn (wherever that may be).
