USB to the rescue of smokers 1Smokers alert! If you want to sneak a puff and remain politically correct in office, here’s something to take care of the irritating second-hand smoke. According to the product’s Japanese supplier, opening the USB ashtray will trigger a fan that sucks the smoke from your cigarette through an absorbing filter. Naturally, any fumes you breathe out will still risk censure from people on the other side of the fence, unless you direct the flow towards the ashtray that’s cleverly disguised as a toy car.

Each ashtray costs around ¥500 ($4.30/£2.20/€3.25).
